Caillor, a responsible company

As a responsible business, CAILLOR has undertaken to reduce its impact on the environment for more than ten years.

Since 1999 CAILLOR has invested in an autonomous treatment station to treat the discharges from the slaughterhouse.

The action continues through the establishment of partnership contracts with companies specialized in the treatment of industrial waste.

In 2008, CAILLOR signed a contract EQUILIBRE+ (BALANCE+) with EDF. In this way, we are doubling our efforts for sustainable development :

- We make sure that 21 % of our annual consumption of electricity is the result of renewable energy with no CO2 emissions.

- We participate in the development of new technologies of non-polluting production of electricity from solar energy, by photovoltaic cells. In fact, EDF return a part of the costs we pay in financing the CISEL project.
